Physiotherapist
Pelvic Health, Women’s Health & Breastfeeding Support

Lauren Ellis is a dedicated physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health, women’s health, and breastfeeding support. She practices across both government and private healthcare settings, allowing her to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse range of women at all stages of life.

As a mother of two young children, aged 7 and 2, and a wife, Lauren brings both professional expertise and personal insight into the physical and emotional journey of motherhood. This lived experience deepens her understanding and enhances the empathy and care she provides to her patients.

Lauren is passionate about supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and beyond. Her work focuses on restoring pelvic floor function, improving core strength, and guiding a safe return to movement and exercise. She has a particular interest in postnatal rehabilitation, including diastasis recti recovery, pelvic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction, and helping women reconnect with their bodies after birth.

In addition to her pelvic health work, Lauren offers specialised breastfeeding support. She assists mothers with challenges such as latching difficulties, nipple pain, engorgement, blocked ducts, and mastitis, using a combination of hands-on physiotherapy techniques and practical, empowering guidance.

Lauren’s approach is holistic, combining education, movement, and hands-on therapy to create individualised treatment plans. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where women feel heard, understood, and confident in their recovery journey.
