Summary

“The **Laparoscopic Master Class** is a focused, half‑day, lecture‑based workshop designed for clinicians who are already competent in basic laparoscopic procedures and wish to advance their surgical knowledge and technical decision‑making. It is aimed at registrars, fellows, and early‑career specialists who routinely perform procedures such as ectopic pregnancy management, salpingectomy, and cystectomy, and are ready to progress to more complex laparoscopic surgery.

The programme covers essential topics to optimise surgical outcomes, including laparoscopic setup and equipment, patient positioning, pre‑operative assessment, difficult entry techniques, and operating on obese patients. More advanced sessions explore step‑by‑step hysterectomy, identification of ureters, management of adherent bladders, principles of laparoscopic oncology, fertility‑preserving ovarian surgery, and the basics of endometriosis surgery and adhesiolysis.”
