Summary

Sexual health concerns are among the most common and often the most difficult issues encountered in gynaecological practice. Conversations about desire, intimacy, and sexual pain can feel complex, emotionally charged, and clinically challenging for both patients and practitioners.
This workshop is designed to equip clinicians with practical, evidence-informed tools to manage common sexual health presentations with confidence in everyday practice. Through expert input, real-world case discussions, patient perspectives, and multidisciplinary collaboration, participants will explore the complexities of desire discrepancy in couples and the biopsychosocial management of Genito-Pelvic Pain/Penetration Disorder (GPPPD).
The workshop combines practical clinical frameworks with insights from psycho-sexology and physiotherapy, helping participants move beyond diagnosis towards compassionate, patient-centred care. Expect engaging discussion, immediately applicable strategies, and a deeper understanding of how to support patients as they navigate deeply personal and often distressing concerns.
Join us for an honest, practical, and clinically relevant conversation about sexual health, because these are the consultations patients remember, and clinicians often wish they had been trained for.
